Come explore the watershed … while maintaining safe social distancing at this full-day sketching, drawing, and painting 
outdoor workshop led by artist Bonnie Schetski. Participants will gather along the Sugar River banks and gain an appreciation for the waterway and surrounding habitat. We will spend the morning learning basic drawing techniques of line, value, shape, and basic color theory. The instructor will provide demonstrations of how to capture trees, clouds, water, and rocks. Participants will practice and gain confidence in their mark-making. We will take a 45-minute lunch break to unwind and get to know each other. In the afternoon, participants will spend time capturing their own interpretations of the Sugar River banks. The workshop will be held at the Southern Wisconsin Land Conservancy’s scenic Three Waters Reserve, N3941 Golf Course Road, Brodhead, Wisconsin 53520.

Time: 9 – 4 pm with lunch-break (bring a sack lunch)
Ages: 18 years old and up
Cost: $150/person (includes a furnished supply kit)
Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. The maximum enrollment is twelve (12) students.
