The world is demanding change. Protests have become a movement in response to the killing of George Floyd in police custody.
We stand with those who will not turn away from the pain and outrage that demands we act now to end the country’s long history of systematic and structural racial violence and discrimination.
It is time to listen and learn from our communities of color.
We believe we all have a stake in clean water. We will continue to work to empower all citizens in the Lower Sugar River Watershed to care for our water so that we all benefit from this essential resource.
We commit now to working with partners in neighboring watersheds throughout the Rock River System of which we are a part, to ensure all people of our watershed community are empowered equally with clean and safe water.
