This exhibition, Seasons of the Sugar River - nature of water, seeks to showcase the scenic landscapes of the Sugar River Watershed from the headwaters region in western Dane County to the lower basin where the river converges with the Pecatonica River in Northern Illinois.
The OPENING RECEPTION will be held on Friday, January 26th from 5-8 pm; Gallery Talk at 5:30 pm. The reception will be a chance to meet the artist, see educational and science displays that highlight issues facing the health of the watershed and partake in excellent food and beverage offerings donated by local restaurants.

Workshops are being led on June 2nd and/or on June 3rd by local artists Jan Norsetter and Jonathan Wilde. Cost is $75 to the general public at least 18 years of age and $60 for MAC and/or LSRWA members. Registration deadline is Friday, May 2.

A field day hosted by the by the Farmers of the Sugar River, a producer led watershed group. Member Jake Kaderly drilled into his winter wheat a variety of cover crops: spring and winter peas, Sunn Hemp, crimson clover, radish, sorghum, kale, purple top turnip and rapeseed.
